Permanently delete your account and all associated data

This action will permanently delete all your data. You will NOT be able to recover your account, alerts, or any other information.

Your Right to Erasure

Under GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure) and CCPA Section 1798.105 (Right to Delete), you have the right to request deletion of your personal data.

After confirmation, the server deletes account records immediately. A minimal consent record may be anonymized and retained where required for compliance.

What Will Be Deleted?

  • Account & Email

    Your account, email address, and authentication data

  • All Scam Alerts

    Complete history of detected scams and AI analysis

  • All Scans

    Your entire scan history, including low-risk scans

  • Devices

    All connected devices and device data

  • Caregiver Links

    All caregiver connections (as caregiver and protected user)

  • Settings & Preferences

    All your privacy preferences and settings

  • Kept: Legal Records

    Some consent logs retained for 7 years (legal requirement)

Help us improve by letting us know why you're leaving. This is optional and will not affect your deletion request.

  1. Right-click the ScamBrake icon in your browser toolbar
  2. Select "Remove" or "Uninstall"
  3. Confirm removal
  4. Your account data remains saved for future use
